Paper allows students to adjust the language preferences on their student dashboard. When students log in, they can click the speech bubble next to their name on the top right of the screen. They can then choose in which language they want to communicate to tutor.
By allowing students to study in their native language, ELL students can get the help they need in content classes while they are still developing their English skills. This will ensure that students don’t fall behind in core classes simply due to a language barrier. Students can then gain confidence in their academics and focus on learning a new language separately.
By providing these options for ELLs, we’re proud to make education more accessible and equitable for all students.
